This is an update on Vitamin D. It is confusing, I know. This study reports that levels of 20 ng/ml are sufficient for all persons. Both studies, there fore consider levels below 20 ng/ml as Vitamin D deficient. The previous article/blog recommended optimal Vitamin D levels to be between 30-50 ng/ml. Go figure! I would still recommend a Vitamin D level to make sure your levels are above 20 ng/ml. I, personally, am shooting for a Vitamin D level of around 30 ng/ml.
