You will also need to wear a compression garment to minimize swelling, support your chest as it heals, and shape your best results.

You will need to avoid strenuous exercise for several weeks, but light activity like walking is encouraged. You can expect to be cleared for all activities around four to six weeks after gynecomastia surgery. While you may still notice some swelling for a few months, your final results with minimal scarring will appear within that time.
