Patient had a lipoma on her right shoulder which had been growing in size. She was concerned about scarring after removal. Although removal of lipoma is the most common method of treatment, liposuction of the lipoma was performed to minimize scarring. Patient is aware the risk of recurrence may be higher than surgical removal. Result is one month after surgery. Procedure was performed under local anesthesia.
