The Rewards of Patience
As many of you know by now, I am a wine aficionado. Penfolds Grange is the flagship wine of Penfolds Winery, and is considered Australia’s most iconic wine. The most recent release received a perfect 100 points by all the major wine critics. The winery’s motto has always been “The Rewards of Patience”, indicating Grange and many of their wines require aging to reach their best.
So what does wine have to do with plastic surgery, you say? Patience! Patience is required for the best result after any surgery, be it a simple mole removal or a breast augmentation. As I have mentioned previously, it will take 3-6 months, and in some rare cases longer, for the final result. This, of course, requires patient compliance with follow-up care and instructions.
To illustrate this point, I have enclosed pre-operative, six weeks and 9 months post-operative photos of a breast augmentation patient.
So please be patient. In many cases, time is your friend!
